Nutrition meals : Good food and conversation with peers can give life to an otherwise bleak existence. Our nutritional services meet each participant’s needs beyond general low-sodium, low-fat recommendations. We accommodate medical requirements and food allergies, as well as tastes. We encourage our participants to improve their diets and learn to make better nutritional choices. We believe meals should not only be good for our members but also provide an opportunity to make them feel at home. Nutritious, balanced meal plans are developed by a Registered Dietitian and these meals include a full hot breakfast, hot lunch from our partner restaurant, and snacks throughout the day.

Meals can accommodate:

  • Regular and special needs diet
  • Restricted Diets
  • Ground meals
  • Soft diets
  • Feeding assistance by trained staff
  • Special arrangements to meet participant preferences.

People aged anywhere from 65 attend adult day programs. There is no specific age requirement. However, attendees are generally older adults. At Angel Star Adult Day Care Center, we encourage caregivers to attend with their loved ones and experience how great a day spent with our friendly members and compassionate staff can be.

People with memory or cognitive impairment such as Alzheimer’s or Dementia, often feel lost or hopeless in many ways. At Angel Star Adult Day Care Center, we believe that seniors always deserve robust help and compassionate support.
We know that individuals living with a diagnosis of dementia often experience and express themselves through the five senses. The Opal program provides daily opportunities for us residents, to positively interact in our community through what we see, hear, touch, taste, and smell. That’s why we included programs such as Reminiscence Therapy and Dementia Care into our services and created a homelike environment, to support and help our members with their needs, and their loved ones can rest and feel satisfied knowing the person they care for is spending the day in an environment that will uplift them.
